There’s nothing like seeing your child’s face light up from the joy of “being in the saddle”. In fact our passion for horse riding started at an early age for us too! This program is designed to suit any level of rider from beginner to intermediate, and will be catered to each individuals experience.

Riders aged 10 years to adult -  enjoy a lesson catered to your riding experience. In our riding school we follow natural horsemanship principles and encourage connection based learning. In lessons, we work with horses both on the ground and in the saddle. We teach a variety of skills including; basic catching/haltering/grooming/tacking, groundwork skills (liberty, pressure and release, rhythmic motion/pressure, desensitising, lunging, flag work, disengaging hindquarters/forequarters, flexion) and other strategies of learning horse psychology and their process of understanding tasks. We work with the horse where they are at and work with them as a partner.

We are set up to take you from the basics to being confident in the saddle at a walk/trot/canter. Please note that we don't do any jumping, dressage or eventing in these lessons, rather we cover the foundations of riding and working with horses.

Key Information . . .

1. Please keep in mind we have weight restrictions in place of 100kg max and a min age of 10yrs up to 65yrs.
2. Please note prices include GST & booking fee
3. What to bring: Horse riding appropriate clothes (long pants - jodphurs, tights or jeans), boots (closed in boots with smooth sole and slight heel) or enclosed shoes, water bottle (we provide helmets)
4. If for any reason we need to cancel a session that you have booked, we will attempt to contact you at least 2 hours prior to the start time to advise that the lesson will not proceed. You will have the option to reschedule to another suitable time.
5. In general, we will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests from you understanding that things happen that are beyond our control. If you don’t give us at least 2 days notice, you will be charged a cancellation/rebooking fee of $22.50 to cover administrative overhead costs, bearing in mind that we may have previously had to turn away prospective bookings.

Please note that we do have limited availability with our coaches so book ahead if you would like regular sessions. Sessions for each term will be posted prior to commencement of term.
