There’s nothing like seeing your child’s face light up from the joy of “being in the saddle”. In fact our passion for horse riding started at an early age for us too! This program is designed to suit younger or very beginner riders who are not confident around horses, or would like to see if horse riding is for them.

For ages 3 - 10 years - These are designed as one-off sessions that you can book to see if your child enjoys having lessons, or if you can't commit at this point to term sessions. Please note - you will not be guaranteed the same coach on these sessions, even if multiple sessions are booked on the same date and time. There will also not be a guarantee of continuity, but these are rather designed for individual sessions.

What lessons will cover:

-         Grooming your horse, possibly saddling your horse (depends on riders ability and time available in session for this)

-         Basic riding skills whilst riding on a trail (learning to steer, stop and start at a walk)

What lessons also may cover (if having booked several sessions):

-         Saddling your horse

-         Catching and leading the horse

-         Bareback riding (with a helmet and led in a walk)

-         Safe feeding practices for different types of food (eg grass, hay, carrots)
